When is it delivered?
We’re delivering each Friday during the month of June, between 10-5pm. The packs are also available for a Friday pick-up.
Do I need to be home for the delivery?
Your delivery comes packed in our beautiful insulated cooler boxes with icebricks. It's designed to keep your delivery cool and comfortable up until 8pm the day of delivery. If you're not home, our couriers will pop the boxes in the safest/shadiest spot they can find!
Can I pick up my delivery from your warehouse?
We offer a pickup service from 9-11am from our warehouse at 35 Radius Loop, Bayswater.
Can I request a delivery time?
Our couriers will be delivering between 10am & 5pm. Due to the sheer volume of orders, we are not able to provide specific delivery times, however get in touch if you need a rough estimation of when to expect your delivery.
What are your delivery zones?
Our usual delivery zones apply (see map below) if you're not in this area, perhaps consider getting your pack delivered to a friend or family member who is, or you can pickup from our warehouse in Bayswater.
Are the packs Dietitian approved?
Our slow roaster packs do not come with our usual "Dietitian Approved" review from Dr Amelia Harray, however she does wish you a wonderful weekend.
Can I do a combination of the packs?
Why of course you can fine swine. Add each pack to your cart. There’s also the option of adding on The Pig Weekender pack. These swines are planning on doing just that & have already ordered the Tuscan Chicken pack with The Pig Weekender pack so we can feast on deliciousness alllll weekend long....yumbo.
How much preparation do I do?
We provide literally every single thing to make the meal. So all you need is a clean kitchen and a great long weekend attitude. All the sauces & marinades are made. You will be required to (depending on which pack you get): chop up & prep your salads/veg sides, pop the meat in roasting trays and into the oven, layer a lasagne & lovingly dress an incredible sourdough ready for garlic bread. Everything in the packs are perfectly portioned though, so you just follow our recipe cards. The beauty of slow roasting is minimal effort is required and you just pop it in the oven and let the magic happen.
How long does it take to prep & cook?
From start to finish all the packs take 1-1.5 hours max. We recommend roping in a friend or family member to help chop, clean and swill wine with you, to make it even quicker!
I have allergies and intolerances – do you cater for these?
Whilst we don’t limit or remove any items relating to intolerances on request, we do list all known allergens on the specific packs descriptions.. We also list if they are an integral part of the meal or something you are able to omit yourself when making up the feast.
What are the serving sizes like?
Each serving size is aimed at feeding a large hungry male (or a lady who owns little pig and doesn’t know her stomachs limits). All the slow roaster packs are designed to feed 4-8 hungry adults. Just have a quick read of the description of each meal as some meals (i.e. the chicken) will only feed 4-6 but others will go further.
Do you offer smaller or larger packs?
Sadly no sweet swines. All of the packs would be delicious enjoyed as leftovers over the long weekend or if you’ve got more people than we’ve listed, we recommend buying two different packs.
Can I take it to Rottnest?
Why yes, yes you can and it’s a fantastic idea – it just costs an extra $20 for shipping labels & admin time to organise.
Can I use my gift voucher to pay for this?
Sorry piglets not for this specialty pack. We only allow gift vouchers to be used for our Mealkits.
Do you pick up the return boxes?
If you're not one of our regular customers or planning to order from us again (what!?), you can drop the boxes back at our warehouse at 35 Radius Loop, Bayswater and we will clean and re-use these bad boi’s many more times – thanks in advance for your efforts. Otherwise you can keep the boxes as an excellent lightweight esky for your car boot, or recycle the cardboard box, use the wool liner (just remove & recycle the plastic outside) as compost in the garden & pop the ice bricks in your freezer.
